Industry-Led Governance for Sustainable Impact
The Professional Institute of Excellence (PIE) operates under a robust governance framework rooted in industry leadership, transparency, and long-term vision. Proudly owned by the Cambodia Tourism Federation (CTF), PIE is guided by professionals who actively shape Cambodia’s hospitality, culinary, and tourism sectors. This strong industry alignment ensures that our programs remain relevant, future-focused, and closely connected to real market needs.
PIE: Powered by the Cambodia Tourism Federation
Established in 2015, the Cambodia Tourism Federation (CTF) is a not-for-profit umbrella organization representing Cambodia’s private tourism sector. Working closely with ministries of the Royal Government of Cambodia, CTF plays a central role in policy dialogue, industry coordination, and destination development.
As the owner of PIE, CTF ensures that education, skills development, and workforce readiness remain aligned with national tourism priorities and international standards.
CTF Activities
- Tourism marketing, promotion & coordination
- Private sector representation and advocacy

An Industry-Connected Board
PIE Board of Directors
PIE is guided by a Board of Directors composed of respected leaders from across Cambodia’s hospitality, tourism, culinary, and business sectors. The Board reflects collective industry expertise, ensuring that PIE remains closely connected to real operational realities, employer expectations, and future workforce needs.
Board members are actively involved in:
- Hotel and resort operations
- Restaurant groups and culinary leadership
- Tourism associations and professional bodies
- Industry advocacy and skills development
This strong industry presence ensures that PIE’s programs are continuously informed by current trends, professional standards, and employer demand.
PIE’s Board operates with a clear separation between governance and day-to-day academic management, ensuring strategic oversight while preserving academic independence and operational excellence.
